Nana Sarpong the Founder is Ghanaian-American based in Washington DC and commutes regularly between the US and Ghana. Nana is a Hospitality professional with over 20 years in the Travel, Lodging and Convention Space.
The need for a fashion brand that bridges the gap between Americans with African descent arose when Nana realized that most men shied away from African inspired fashion because of its boldness and eccentricity.
The “LYF by Keys and Kredo” Brand was the solution. It is the fashion and accessories tier of Keys + Kredo. LYF sources Fabrics from all over the world and blends them with African Prints for primarily Men’s Apparel and Home Decor. Production is currently in Ghana and Maryland and retail is primarily in the US. In the last 5 years the LYF brand has retailed over 2000 pieces of clothing and home decor pieces and maintained a loyal following and repeat clientele.
As the business is gaining traction and notoriety; Keys and Kredo is looking to expand and increase its footprint. And collaboration with brands like Ayanski Fabrics is one of such initiatives.
